Friday Five!

And now, time for today's Friday Five!

1. What is your favorite restaurant and why? It used to be Carrabba's (amazing Italian food), but lately it's been Lupe Tortilla's. They have the absolute best fajitas in the world. They just opened one about five minutes from our place, so it's near by and delicious.

2. What fast food restaurant are you partial to? Fazoli's is my biggest weakness. I love their Submarino sandwiches and their buttery, yummy breadsticks.

3. What are your standards and rules for tipping? I usually give around fifteen percent, but if the waiter has been particularly great, I'll tip a little higher.

4. Do you usually order an appetizer and/or dessert? At Carrabba's we order their calimari, at Lupe Tortilla's I get queso to go with my rice. We do Blooming Onions or wings at and at Red Lobster we get chicken fingers and cheese sticks. We very rarely order deserts.

5. What do you usually order to drink at a restaurant? If I'm not drinking, I order a Coke without ice (I hate ice in drinks). At Red Lobster I get their raspberry piña colada. Carrabba's makes these great drinks called Grand Roman Ritas (margaritas with a shot of Grand Marnier in them) that I just love to get. They are so good and so strong. Anywhere else, it's usually a frozen rita or a piña colada.

Carrabbas is also my favorite. We were there this past Thursday evening and although I wasn't that hungry (we skipped Calamari Ricardo for the first time in ages) I was able to eat their Pasta Carrabba (I love their Luna Carrabba also). My husband and I are there so frequently the waiters and hostesses know us and carry conversations with us every time.
