All That Jazz

Jeanna and I went to see Chicago and I cannot remember the last time I loved a movie so much or was able to be so caught up in the world they portrayed. I hadn't seen the show, so I had no idea what was going to happen in the movie which probably let me enjoy it more.

I figured it would be good, but I had no idea it was going to be this good. The dancing and singing numbers were absolutely stunning, especially Cell Block Tango and We Both Reached For the Gun.

Catherine Zeta-Jones was gorgeous and her performances were amazing. You can tell that she has a background in singing and dancing. Renee Zellweger made a hell of a chanteuse. Who would have thought she's have a voice like that? Usually Richard Gere bugs the shit out of me, but I actually liked him in this movie.

I suggest highly seeing this movie in the theater so that you can really take it all in. I loved the music so much that I have already bought the soundtrack (only $12.98 at Amazon). To me, this was magic and why movies hold such a dear place in my heart.

Anyone else seen it yet?

Oh...I am so glad you liked it! I can't wait to see it myself...and the soundtrack and the DVD are going to be must-haves for my collection!

I've been wondering about this movie and whether or not I'd like it. I think I'll have to grab a friend and head out to see it. My husband doesn't "do" musicals. ;)

I'm going to see it tomorrow, but I bought the soundtrack today and I LOVE it. I'm getting so excited to see the movie!

Wasn't it wonderful?! I grew up going to see musicals but never saw this one. Now I have to see it on stage! I can't wait 'til the DVD comes out! :)
