Girl's Night Out
I got a phone call today from Jeanna and the first words out of her mouth were, "I need alcohol. Let's go out tonight instead of tomorrow."
I was having what was shaping up to be a shitty day (side note: there is nothing better than having a day that looks like it's going to end in death and bloodshed actually turn out great) so I readily agreed.
We ended up just wandering around the mall for a while and then going to dinner at Red Lobster but, as always, I had the greatest time hanging out with her. We laughed, we called people jack monkeys, we sang along to old ballads, we discussed books, and just talked about whatever random thing happened across our minds.
Isn't it wonderful to have a best friend?

Yeah, I know what you mean. My best friend of over ten years and I had a bad blowout 2 years ago and I tell you, I miss her alot. I miss just hanging out, shopping, eating out (esp. the sushi bar). I've tried to mend the friendship but she'll have none of it. I miss her. Cherish your best friend. :)
