Survivor Strategy
As you can tell from my Netflix history, I've been watching the first season of Survivor. When the show first started I thought it was a really stupid idea and spurned watching it until about two years ago when they split the tribes into male and female. Feminist that I am, I couldn't resist watching it to see how it was going to play out. Now I'm totally hooked on the show and love it, especially the All-Star season that just finished up.
After watching the game for a few years (especially after how Machiavellian this season was) it's amazing to me that people went in and never organized alliances with the exception of a few players. Several players even refused to get in on alliances, something that would pretty much guarantee you a loss if you tried it now. One of the guys is voting for people alphabetically, not even trying to eliminate anyone. It's amazing how different the game became, and from what I understand, just after this first season. Should be interesting to see the evolution when the rest of the seasons come out on DVD.

I don't even remember the alphabet voter's name (though I remember his face, oddly enough), but I remember being really irked by his "strategy".
