My FreeiPod.com Success Story

As I mentioned yesterday, my iPod from FreeiPods.com shipped. The estimated arrival date was between one and two weeks, so imagine my surprise when I went outside today to find a box hanging on my gate from Apple!

I took it inside, opened it up, and indeed, my brand new 20G iPod was inside. It's got FreeiPods.com engraved on the back, but that's a small price to pay. Plus, there's still plenty of room to get other things engraved.

This is perfect timing since I leave on Friday to visit Mac, LT, and any other bloggers that want to meet me.

I was beginning to be very skeptical of the whole FreeiPods.com thing, but I'm proof that it does work. I'm rotating links out for people still needing referrers, so if you haven't signed up for it or for the free flat screen tv or the free Dell Dimension 3000 desktop computer, please go here to sign up.

It really is a scam. I've known two people who went through the painstaking process of referrals and signing up for offers and 7 months later, they did not get their freeipods even though they fulfilled their requirements. I don't doubt that some people may have actually received an ipod from this fraud company, but even if they ship 1 ipod for every 10 people who meet their requirements, it's still a scam!
