The Total Cost
Gah! I just got the mail and I have another bill in there from that stupid kidney stone procedure that I had in April, this one to to the tune of $162.
I wish when you had a procedure like this done they'd give you some kind of clue how many other people are going to need money in addition to the $2,800 I had to give them the day of the surgery. At this point, we're rapidly approaching $4,000 and it's anybody's guess if another bill or two or three are going to show up.
God, I hate insurance companies.

I wish we could tell them 'You have one month to gather all you crap and send me the charges...anything past 1 month is null, void and ignorable!' They give you 30 days to pay. If they can't charge you within 30 days...oh well!!

Dude, I was just reading your "today's posts" archives because of a title catching my eye. I just realized what you did wrong.
You should have gone to Dr. Nickle instead. SHE could have cured you for free. I wonder if she is still running that office out of Hooters? ;)
