I had started to make a post last week about the whole Canadian figure skating pair scandal and never got around to it. This is the first time (probably since 1988) that I've actually watched the Olympics thanks to Steven Tivoing it. I was absolute stunned by Jamie Sale and David Pelletier's performance. When they finished and they just had the look that they KNEW they'd do the absolute best they could, I was so happy for them and proud of them. Then, they got totally screwed in the judging. Today, that has been rectified. They have been awarded the gold medal. I am so glad that this travesty has been rectified! .: 112 words at 02:15 PM in Notable News :: Link ::
