The Sunday Update
Well, it's Sunday and tomorrow will be business as usual and back to the daily grind. Just like on most my weekends, I didn't do much, but not doing much has made me very happy. :-)
Steven and I had dinner Friday night at Chinese Cafe (Yes, Audra, the one on Belaire. I love their shredded chicken in white sauce and their shrimp fried rice. Yummy, yummy!) and I managed to find some raspberry puree on the way home from work Friday afternoon, so I got some raspberry piña coladas this weekend after all. I spent most of the weekend playing dominoes at Pogo.com and downloading adventures for Zeus and Poseidon by Impressions Games. I think I am ready to become obsessed by it again and lose myself in more Greek adventures.
I am adjusting to the time change, even though I hate it and am not looking forward to it being even brighter when I go to work in the morning. I hate the sun and go no where without sunglasses.
I hope that Christine will have more luck with the php on the server and my skins will be back soon. This plain skin is driving me nuts. I miss all of my pretty fishbowl skins. I have one more that Kristine made and personalized for The Neurotic Fishbowl. I've almost got it tweaked the way I want it. I really need to learn CSS. I spent one day at work when I didn't have much to do going, "Stretch, you damn yellow line, stretch!"
I guess I have rambled enough now that I will go finish watching "The Court." I've been Tivoing it, but just got around to watching it today. Wasn't incredible impressed with the first episode, so we'll see if it remains a season pass for much longer.
Everyone enjoy the little bit of weekend left!

I *think* we finally have the PHP issue all figured out for the server. So tomorrow you'll be all fixed up! :)

Sunday Op-Ed
I found a new weekly meme - Chris' Sunday Op-Ed.
1) Day Light Savings
What is an awful, horrible thing to do to a person? I hate having to lose an hour of sleep and it's a pain to figure out how to reset the clock in my car.
2) Elijah Wood
Who is an incredible actor that I always knew would be a gorgeous guy when he grew up? Of course, I hated that damn Lord of the Rings movie.
3) Music
What is something that I can't live without? Music has always been entwined in my life. I marched the bass drum and played percussion in high school, have a huge music collection, and love to sing (even though I'm not very good). I love all types of music.

Eight From The Eighties
Better late than never, right? Here's Deb's Eight From The Eighties.
1) Are you true blue? Yes. I am very loyal if you are my friend. I tend to sometimes be more loyal than I should be, but I'm trying to watch that.
2) When's the last time you went steppin' out? A couple of weeks, I guess. I've become such a homebody on the weekends as of late. Late nights at the office, lots of stress, and all I want to do on the weekends is sleep in and do nothing.
3) What's something your parents just don't understand? Why I love movies like Clerks and Pulp Fiction. When I lived at home my mother could never understand why I watched movies with so much cursing and violence.
4) What are sweet dreams made of? A blender of raspberry piña coladas, Steven, and a yummy dinner. I'm easy to please. :-)
5) Are you prone to burning down the house? Yes. I am a total spaz and I can't cook a thing. I would probably burn the house to a cinder if I tried cooking anything.
6) It's the end of the world as you know it. How do you feel? Sad. I happen to like my world and it would suck if it ended.
7) Are you going to Wang Chung tonight? I love that song, so hell yeah, I'll Wang Chung tonight!
8) Why can't I get, just one... ? Deadline at work that I don't have to worry about it being missed.

Saturday Scruples
Continuing my habit of posting late on the weekend, here's Marsha's Saturday Scruples.
1. the only available spot in the parking lot is reserved for the handicapped. you are in a hurry and won't be very long. do you park there? No. Never. I never park in handicap spaces. Once, Steven and I had to run to the office we both worked at really late at night and I got on him for parking in the handicap space even though it was midnight and we were the only people there.
2. you have been attending classes all year. an acquaintance, who rarely shows up, asks to photocopy your notes. do you consent? Well, I was always the person that did this in college, so I would. I never went to class, so I would help someone out since others did it for me.
3. you have a struggling young company. you have to choose between two equal candidates for a job, a man and a woman. The woman will work for $2000 per year less than the man. do you hire her for that reason? If she's got on her resume or told me that she would work for less, I would say yes. Hopefully, we could stop struggling and then I would up her salary.

Help Protect Puerto Rico's Ecological Corridor
Please go visit the Action Network to sign a petition that would protect Puerto Rico's northeastern ecological corridor, some of the last remaing wildcoast areas.

It is extremely important that any development is stopped in the Northeastern Ecological Corridor of Puerto Rico. That area is home to many animal species that will be endanger of becoming extinct if built upon; not to mention the water that will be taken from the locals for the resorts.
