The bad news is that today my dad found out he has cancer. It's on one of his kidneys and he sees the specialist tomorrow, so I don't know anything beyond that right now. Of course, though, I'm terribly scared and very sad and I'm hoping very hard that it hasn't spread and all will be well.
So, if you could keep me and my family in your thoughts I would really appreciate it.
I'm so sorry to hear about you dad's health problems. Try to keep a positive outlook on it and know that you and your family are in my thoughts.

My dad was diagnosed with kidney cancer in March. The did a partial nephrectomy because he only had 1 big lump. It didn't spread and once he got over the surgery, he was fine. Thinking good thoughts for you and your dad.

I just got the leukemia diagnosis Friday, so if your pops is at MD Anderson, come see me. I'll be here for a month or more.

kymberlie, i just found out about your dad the other day (while i was having dinner with Christine). i just read your other posts and i'm so glad your dad is going much better. *hugs*
also, on the lighter side, you've tried sushi now? woohoo! now we can go have sushi together (even though we keep talking about getting together for Chinese Cafe).
